63 cities in India and counting…

“You will either step forward into growth or you will step back into safety.” – Abraham Maslow

At the start of 2018, Zomato had a footprint in 38 Indian cities. It’s been barely six months since and the number has gone reasonably up. We’re delighted to announce our presence in 25 new cities in India today. Our restaurant listings and reviews platform is now present across 63 cities in the country; while our food ordering business is currently live in 17 of them.

The newly launched cities include – Trivandrum, Vijayawada, Raipur, Madurai, Jodhpur, Thrissur, Ajmer, Manali, Alappuzha, Gorakhpur, Ooty, Kota, Manipal, Dharamshala, Jammu, Haridwar, Jalandhar, Rishikesh, Mussoorie, Udupi, Cuttack, Shimla, Palakkad, Pushkar and Srinagar.

More is better, right?

India is home and has always been our highest priority market. We are committed to building further depth within the country, and are doing everything possible – to enable the growth of the restaurant industry, while helping our users make better food choices.

We hope our ceaseless endeavour helps you explore more of India as we promise to continue building further depth in our offerings.

Over the last decade, Zomato’s long term vision has evolved to ‘better food for more people’; and we have been focused on experimenting with products that solve for affordability, accessibility, assortment and quality of food for the users.

True to our spirit, you’ll be seeing more and more cities getting ‘zomato-ed’ in the near future. In other words, we are only getting started 🙂

Upwards and onwards.
